Similar to the “Last Movie You Watched” thread, but for TV shows instead. Just a quick blurb about a show you are either currently watching, recently finished or recently binged.

Dark on Netflix. Awesome show. Tried the English dubbed version for the first 2 episodes and it just was off. Went to subs after and was much better.

Finished “The Boys” a few weeks ago. Been watching “The Man In The High Castle” for the last week. About half way through season 3.

I am currently binging Bones.

The first few seasons were OK, but it gets pretty bad in the later seasons. Overall, I would not recommend it. Or just watch the first 4 seasons or so.

The Umbrella Academy...

Pretty unexceptional show. Writing sucks and the acting was meh. Got a little more interesting towards the last few episodes of S2. Don’t know why I even continued after season 1. Seemed like a popular show so kept going thinking it would get better. It’s a fairly easy watch just nothing particularly good about it.

So far I’m impressed with both.

I don't binge as in sit there and watch 6 episodes in a row. But I will watch an episode or 2 a day until a series is done.

Daughter is here currently and she seems to hold the remote a lot.

So I've been watching this and I quite like it. Although Lenny Bruce is entirely too civilized.

I gave it a try when it first came out. I couldn’t get past the “dual language” motif they used so they wouldn’t lose Van Zandt’s accent or force him to speak in whatever the language is. Too much of a suspension of disbelief for me.

Sex Education (TV Series 2019– ) - IMDb and Dear White People (TV Series 2017– ) - IMDb are 2 I watched with her. Neither are for everyone, but I found both quite entertaining.

I'm still on season 5 of Vikings (TV Series 2013– ) - IMDb That one is running out of gas a bit for me, but worth checking out.

I'm also watching Ricky Gervais' After Life (TV Series 2019– ) - IMDb which has some good, though dry, dark Brit laughs.

I really like high castle. I think they rushed the ending though.
