Anti-matter from deep space is destroying the earth. The source is a 80 yr old space ark to nepture piloted by Brads dad. Brad goes to meet him. Some of the action scenes were pretty good. :)

Action??

I found the film lacking in everything.

not sure anything can top that epic movie…loved the connection of the mob to JFK and the teamster union to nixon thru out the movie. true stuff.

scorsese is the best in the biz imo.

Uncut Gems. The good - the acting, the plot, the dialog.. even all of the frantic overlapping dialog. The bad - the soundtrack/score.. aside from being mostly god-awful, lush, boring synthasizer crap was just too damn loud, at times overpowering the dialog I was trying to pay attention to. It really got in the way. 7/10

I watched the new indie film "Carpool". A young man gets a job with a long commute so he places an ad to get a passenger to share the ride/expenses with. A young woman answers the ad and over the course of 30 years they share details of their lives - marriages, kids, family crises, etc. It was pretty good, well acted but the aging makeup was bad.

I’ve been going thru my BD collection for flicks I haven’t seen in a while, and viewed The Fugitive, a 1993 movie with Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones. Still a great fast paced, action packed film.

Oscar Isaac was great.

Wish I would've watched it when it came out. And just skipped Westworld.

She's exquisite.. and she's a hell of an actress.

Never been a fan. Not sure why. She's way better than Eric Robert's sister and better looking but I dislike both of them.

The one thing I do like about her is she is a notorious pot head.

Another fast paced movie I've enjoyed is Frantic. (1988) Ford plays a doctor who goes on vacation to Paris with his wife. Shortly after arriving, he takes a shower in the hotel room, and when he comes out, his wife is gone. He then proceeds, at a frantic pace, to try to figure out WTF happened. He encounters a very attractive young lady along the way (Emmanuelle Seigner) which naturally makes things more entertaining.

Maybe I'll check it out.

Poopstarter, the documentary about a startup company using crowd sourced funding to launch a new laxative. I thought it was a piece of crap.

Aladdin.

I'll never appreciate how hard they worked to turn a good animated movie into an average live action movie. Its not as bad as it could've been but it's way more awkward than it needed to be.
