Bad Words

Just got sucked into rewatching it last night. Terrific dialog and character development.

St. Vincent. It was a good dramedy I thought but not something I'll ever watch again.

I watching it expecting it to be complete drivel.

I was not disappointed, so I was actually somewhat entertained.

Meh, I guess you could say that my expectations were low as well, but I thought it was OK.

Saw a movie called Homesman i think. Tommy Lee Jones and Hillary Swank escorting crazy women across the Old West. It was really good but not very entertaining. Editing was a bit choppy but it doesnt over romanticize the past like so many other movies. id give it a B

I keep seeing commercials for it. Don't remember it coming out. But I want to watch it.

I rented it from a Redbox. If you're a fan of Western Americana then you should watch it. Swank isn't the easiest woman to look at but she nails the part.

Watched Birdman last night. It held my interest and Keaton was great in it. Pretty cool the way it was filmed (one continuous shot).
The ending leaves a bit of room for interpretation/speculation, but I won't discuss that here.
7/10.

Sadly, some dumbfuck on CNBC spoiled the ending for me. I guess I don't need to see it now.

I've watched a lot of movies on Netflix, Blu Ray and tv this past week due to being snowed in.

Dead Snow - Decent horror/comedy if you can tolerate subtitles
Dead Snow: Red vs. Dead - Slow to start but was hilarious. Better than the first one in my opinion
Patriot Games - Never gotten around to seeing it but definitely enjoyed it. And of course, Sean Bean dies at the end.
Necessary Roughness - Hadn't seen this one in a long time and still holds up as a very funny sports comedy. Had no clue Jason Bateman was in it. Damn did he look really young at that point. Also had my childhood crush, Kathy Ireland in it, which was a huge bonus.
The Ref - Still a classic Christmas movie that I highly recommend.
Arena - Typical straight to video action movie. A lot like the Death Race movies I thought.
Lucy - Slightly disappointed. Felt like it could have been a lot better.
As above, so below - Decent horror movie. The lead female grated on my nerves the whole movie though.
Troy - Sean Bean doesn't die at the end! Orlando Bloom plays a very convincing coward.
