I watched all 3 pretty much back to back. I loved them for what they are. Shootem up action with cool ways to kill.

These are the movies I watch and turn off all parts of the brain except for the action and fun.

I watched it with my wife & daughter and they both enjoyed it more than I did. I told them that I liked this movie better when Jennifer Garner was wiping out the bad guys.

It was ok for what it was I guess. But it lost me with that final fight scene where Wick, who'd been kicking ass against multiple trained assassins simultaneously for the entire movie, all of the sudden apparently had all he could handle in a fight with this middle-aged, out of shape crime lord.

I get that it's just a fantasy, but at least try to be a little consistant within the parameters of that fantasy.

Sometimes that crap can get in the way of a watchable flick.

#3 was too much for me. It was WAY too over the top.

That is what I thought they were going for. I guess that is why I didn't hate it. Seemed to be something built into the cake.

Then I don't get it lol. Is he superhuman? He was a tough badass in the first, a lucky tough badass in the second, and now after all the things that happened in the 3rd, the dude should absolutely be dead lol.

It's like the Fast and the Furious movies. They keep going over the top, but it isn't as egregious as Wick in my opinion because their stunts are mostly vehicle related, albeit also insanely ridiculous.

I watched Escape From LA a couple days ago.

That was a STUPID movie. I understand it was intended as a spoof of a B-movie, but it just didn’t have any charm, imho.

4/10 (impressive cast)

El Camino. It was okay but I felt like you're not missing anything important if you skip it.
I just watched El Camino too. It sucked. I also watched The Irishman. Some mild entertainment but not really worth 3.5 hours.

I watched The Beastie Boys documentary on Apple TV. I didn't know much about the group itself other than some of their songs. I enjoyed it and I'd probably recommend it if you're a fan of theirs.

I don't have Apple TV but I would like to see that. One of two rap groups I have in my phone.

I always considered them one of the pioneers of the rap-rock genre that got big around the late 90s-early 2000s.

Yeah and you have to respect the fact that Keanu did all his own stunts
