I have not seen Oldboy, but it has a naked Olsen sister, so it can't be that bad...

I don't think there's any way it could possibly compare to the original but I could be wrong.

Just watched Now You See Me for the 1st time last night. I really enjoyed it: A good combination of action & suspense, & I was left guessing who the "mastermind" behind everything was right up to the end.

Parkland - Centers around Parkland memorial hospital, the JFK assassination, and it's aftermath. Oswald, Zapruder, and various law enforcement and medical staff. It makes no statement one way or another in regards to theories on JFK's death. Very short at 93 minutes. Great cast....fell short. 6/10.

Blue Sapphire - Cate Blanchett , Alec Baldwin, and a mixed bag of familiar actors. Chick movie, mostly. Blanchett is unbearable as usual. 5/10 if you're a male. I'd say 7/10 if you have a vag.

Escape Plan - Stallone and the Governator. Oh yeah, Fitty Cent is also in this. The plot is actually pretty good. Stallone owns a security company and is hired by various prisons to test out if they're secure. He goes in incognito as an inmate and escapes....until the last one. Does he escape with the help of Arnold? There's a twist near the end. If you don't fall asleep you can pick up on it, though. 6/10.

Haunter- 4/10 Ehh horror movie, nothing great.

Captain Phillips- 10/10. Just a fantastic movie. Everything about it was excellent. For more than half the movie my heart was beating, it was so intense. Easily one of the best movies from 2013. Just have a hard time choosing between this, Catching Fire and Wolf Of Wall Street for my favorite one.

I didn't find it too pushy. To me, it was a love story: sweet, sad and a little bit complicated.

Excellent. The Wife thought it might focus too much on an underlying message about modern technology invading our private lives etc.

Seen that bout 20 times now. Always on tv. Really solid movie. Liked that it was different from the typical baseball movie.
