I watched my all-time favorite movie, Julie Andrews' "Sound Of Music", on a disc I will never voluntarily part with 2-3 nights ago.

The Departed- no matter how many times I watch it, still a perfect 5/5

I never got wowed by it because it's basically Lucky Number Sleven which came out a year or couple years right before it.

Finally saw Into Darkness yesterday.

Holy shit, that is a SOLID movie. And I had no idea going in that it was (basically) a remake. I just thought it was in the franchise.

Just came back from vacation where i watched these 4 movies on the plane

1. Nebraska- actually loved it(was it really in black and white or was it just the copy i got)...
2. Fruitvale station- very good, but nebraska was better-
3. All is lost- was bored throughout this movie
4.Oldboy- sorry to group this crap with 3 of the best 2013 movies, but i liked it i think, but the reason for the whole kidnapping and 20 years until released was very strange, and very sick... I can see why people would hate this movie, it was just very weird... and very r*pe-y...

Dune, the original. May have been the most ridiculous, boring and just flat-out awful movies I've ever seen. I only watched it because I had recently watched Blade Runner and was on a Sean Young kick. I read that she was in it and from some of the reviews, people actually liked it. I have no idea why.

Over the last few days I've also watched Gravity, The Conjuring, Captain Phillips, Monsters University, Bad Grandpa and Despicable Me 2

GrownUps2- Nowhere near as good as the first one, had some funny moments. Hate Taylor Lautner.

This Is The End- Fucking fantastic. Hilarious, all my favorite actors in one movie.

American Psycho- First time I've watched it in full, great movie.

Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter

It was on one of the movie channels and the g/f was curious. It was actually better than I had expected but I had very low expectations for it. It kept me entertained and had some good little twists. I can check it off the list and have no real interest in watching it again. I'd give it a 6/10.

'Dallas Buyers Club'
I had low expectations for this movie going into it, but turned out to be a really good movie. I'm not a huge fan of Matthew McConaughey but he did a hell of a job in this movie. The movie got kind of slow in part and at the end and it could have been 15 minutes shorter for my taste. Wouldn't say it's an Academy Award winning best picture but I could see McConaughey getting best actor. He did an outstanding job.

Me too I just watched it a couple of days ago & I was intrigued. Good Film & I've always loved Joaquin Phoenix acting.
