Just hoping that Yu has some semblance of command with his fastball today. If he can command his fastball enough to throw a few strikes with it, it should be lights out for the Angels. I honestly think that the increase in homers by the opposition against Yu is directly in conjunction to the point in the season where he decided to start throwing about 85% off speed stuff. When you percentage is that heavily towards off speed stuff, you're bound to hang a few sooner or later.

I know I am a sick bastard Rev but I want them watching and knowing what Cleveland are doing. The way I see it is that they are professional athletes and as such, they should thrive on the pressure that comes with a win or go home situation. I think that's what's been going on for the last week and they are responding to it well. Also, I don't want Wash thinking that he has tomorrow in the bag because then, knowing Wash, he'll start saving the pen for tomorrow instead of trying to win today. I know that's crazy but we're talking about Wash here.

Not sure where you see hyperbole but IF you watch the Rangers for the entirety of the season you would know that statistically the percentage of fastballs thrown by Yu has declined dramatically since the all star break and that's mostly because he's had trouble throwing it for strikes consistently. Those are the facts.

One of the greatest weapon in Yu's arsenal is when hitters have to respect the possibility of a 94-96mph fastball. It just makes everything else he throws that much better.

Thanks though its always good to have those "fact checkers" like you on a sports blog, I'm sure you know the exact percentage of off speed pitches that Yu has thrown and therefore would never say something remotely resembling hyperbole.
