Well maybe we won't have to see a bunt.

My "inside source" is someone who is sitting in the dugout in tonight's game with a blue Texas jersey on. That's as much as I will say right now but I will be MORE than happy to reveal who it is once he is no longer with the team and also how I know him so well (longtime friend). I don't talk to this person that often, maybe once during the season and a few times during the offseason. He doesn't divulge a whole lot nor do I ask him to. But he has told me some things over the years and one of those is exactly how much Wash trusts his coaches and how often he follows their advice.

I have no idea what was discussed in that 2-1 loss to KC. What I DO know is that Tanner Scheppers was needlessly pitched the night before in a total blowout after pitching for 2 days prior. That caused Wash to insert a wild and untested Feliz into a bases loaded situation in the bottom of the 8th when he should have been able to pitch Scheppers had he planned ahead. He even said in his post game comments he would have pitched Scheppers instead of Feliz had Scheppers been rested.

And yes, Frasor did put men on with a seeing-eye single and a bloop hit, but it was Fwliz who walked in the winning run on 4 pitches. No way Scheppers does that. No way.

Will, I don't really care about inside sources and I doubt your inside source wants his name on a message board. Besides, we Heard all that before with Larry Legend.
You simply can not say that about Sheppers or any other pitcher. After all it was Sheppers that came in and
allowed a run on two hits recently. Impossible to predict the future.
Without the offense scoring it doesn't make any difference to me who pitches. I respect your opinion but we'll have to agree to disagree.

Rios is a base stealing fool. He could give us some value next season. Just not as our #3 hitter.
