We just can't hit mid-90's fastballs right down the middle even when we know they're coming. Most Major Leaguers can. De La Rosa threw nothing but 94-97 fastballs there.

Last one was 98 and gentry can't catch up to the real hard stuff for whatever reason

He's not the only one. The majority of this team has trouble with mid-to-high 90's fastballs right down the middle. Major Leaguers should be able to clobber those pitches if they're not located well. It's why there are tons of guys who can throw that hard these days but only a select number of them have low ERA's and WHIP's.
