Geno Atkins - DL - Bengals

Coach Marvin Lewis confirmed DT Geno Atkins tore his right ACL on Thursday night and is done for the season.

It's a crushing blow and is quite possibly the biggest defensive injury of the season. A year after registering 12.5 sacks and 53 tackles, Atkins was on his way to posting another All-Pro season. His year ends with 20 tackles and six sacks. Atkins was sitting at No. 5 in Pro Football Focus' defensive tackle ratings. The Bengals are expected to search the street for defensive tackle help. Richard Seymour is a name to keep an eye on. That's pure speculation on our part, though. Seymour wants money and the Bengals have plenty of cap space.

Jim Wyatt:

Per sources, the #Titans believe Locker suffered a Lisfranc injury in right foot. More tests being done. Surgery is a possibility

Scott Wells - C - Rams

Rams C Scott Wells fractured his fibula in the first half of Sunday's game against the 49ers and will likely miss the rest of the season.

Wells was initially ruled out with an ankle injury. Tim Barnes replaced him to start the second half and will handle the duties for the season's remainder. Wells, 33 next month, started the first 12 games this season, but he'll end up missing 13-of-32 games since signing a four-year, $24 million contract two offseasons ago. He and his $5.5 million salary are candidates to be released in March.

From the Cardinals official twitter:

BruceArians fears a season-ending ACL injury for rookie safety Tryrann Mathieu. #STLvsAZ

------------

Jason La Canfora:

With the Pats fearing Rob Gronkowski is out for the season with knee/ligament damage, look for them to resign TE DJ Williams

John Boyle:

Pete Carroll says in his postgame presser that K.J. Wright broke a bone in his foot. Out "around" six weeks.

Carroll said C Max Unger had a pec strain, S Jeron Johnson pulled his other hamstring (had dealt with hamstring issues earlier this year).

Wright has graded out as PFF's 10th best 4-3 OLB this season.

Oh shit! Gronk tore both his ACL and his MCL. Ouch.

I don't know how this guy is going to continue to play football. His body's in shambles.

He's taken a lot of punishment, and he seems like a slow healer. He could miss or be limited for much of next year. He may just be too big and physical. Too much of him to hit, and he doesn't try to avoid contact.

Well the Pats certainly got screwed by giving a bunch of money to Gronk & Hernandez.

K.J. Wright - LB - Seahawks

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll confirmed Monday that SLB K.J. Wright will require surery on his broken foot.

It's a big injury for the Seahawks, as Wright is an impact run defender who's amassed 80 tackles and 1.5 sacks through 13 starts. Wright is capable of playing both strong-side and middle linebacker. Seattle will have to dive into its linebacker depth, which isn't great. Wright will miss "around" six weeks. Perhaps the Seahawks will keep him off I.R. in hopes of a Super Bowl return.
