Future Watch Grade B-

The Flyers are replenishing their depleted cupboard through the draft, but they've also had success with free agent signings, such as Matt Read.

2012 Rank 17th out of all 30 NHL teams.

Can't wait to see Laughton debut in his first NHL game in 2013. Hopefully it's the spring and not the fall...

I'll be honest, I don't understand why the Flyers prospect pool is rated 17th. They have the Penguins rated 26th which is ridiculous. I realize most of the Pens top prospects are defenseman, but most of them are high end D prospects. Depres, Morrow, Pouliot & Maata were all 1st round picks.

St. Louis is ranked 19th & they have Tarasenko & Schwartz who are better than anyone in the Flyers system as far as I'm concerned.

Sorry, I just think they're rankings are a bit flawed. The Isles are ranked 8th. BLASPHAMY!!

I would have guessed us to be in the 25-30 range with how much we raided the prospect cupboard last year, so I'd probably agree, Bolts.

THN really has Wellwood as a prospect still? :L

Hopefully everything clears up with Cousins, I have very high hopes for him.

Another guy is this year's 7th rounder, Valeri Vasilev. Apparently could have been a 2nd rounder, but the problem is getting him to America as well as a recent surgery.

those are the most optimistic flyers ratings i've ever seen.. wellwood is a 3rd line energy guy at best, holmstrom is a call-up 4th line guy at best, it doesn't really look like lauridsen is gunna make the jump (though i'm still hopeful).. i dont think testwuide is gunna make it..

laughton, cousins, and ghost from my perspective, are the only one's that will ever make a difference on the flyers.. and laughton/cousins will just be good 3rd liners.. i'm extremely optimistic on ghost though, from all accounts he has looked awesome since being drafted
