Two recent mock drafts have the Rangers taking Max Clark and Chase Dollander while Walker Jenkins goes with the very next pick. I sure hope we do not pass up Jenkins if either of those scenarios come to pass.

I have seen the Rangers break out with double digit runs before. Those games are fun, but it sure would be nice to start scoring 4 or 5 runs or more, on a consistent basis.

That begs the question, then why isn't Duran playing in AAA?

Any number of reasons. Perhaps they feel Duran is more able to handle the MLB level, whereas Huff needs more time in AAA. Huff also plays primarily one position, so getting him into games at the MLB level takes more effort than it does with Duran, who can play multiple positions.

I am probably going to hate these, based on what I've seen.

Huff can play C, 1B, and can DH. That is enough to keep him as busy as Duran has been.

Duran belongs at AAA right now just like Huff does.

They found Leon fairly easily. They should be able to do the same for Duran's replacement. When Duran made the team it wasn't because he was the only possible option.

They probably should have kept Mathias.
