Just looking at overall team stats for defense.. the Rangers need to get better at 3B, 1B and LF on the defense side.

On offense it’s 3B, LF, DH and 1B

Hopefully Jung can knock out 2 of those and play good offense and defense at 3B.

What do do about LF, DH & 1B?

Foscue could probably help at DH offense
Hopefully Zavala can quickly rise and be a mainstay in LF.

Could Huff be our future first baseman? I don’t have a feel for his defense there yet? He seems to do well on offense at AAA and during his brief few starts at the MLB level..

If you throw out the 3 games he has pitched against Houston and Toronto his ERA would be 3.73.

That might be the best all around game so far this season

Got some decent run support tonight and ended up with a nice win instead of another 1 run loss (of which he's been the starting pitcher for 10 of them). Slider was working real good and generated most of his K's...

I am ok with AAA. It would be even better with a 4 man rotation until Gray gets back depending on his IL stint

With the way he just gets thoroughly abused by batters I'm not sure he would be much better in small doses.

100% a base running error.
He should have stayed on 3B until it was caught/not caught.. no reason to be half way down the line and waiting.

To me nothing is a deal breaker but if we have another arm ready to bring up and he is blocking him, send him down. Let him learn up here otherwise. He is by no means a definite keeper

But the announcers cover for it. Just kills their objectivity. Why should we give any credence to their opinions?
