As explained in the Team-by-Team Thread, I am planning on making a thread every three days for a different team. The first few posts will be questions, requests for predictions, etc. There will be a poll unless I don't feel like making one. Some teams are less interesting than others.

Please participate in posting articles, predictions, etc.

Biggest questions:
Can VanGundy get Jennings and Smith to use that thing between their ears and play some team ball?
Can they find some outside shooting? Well, okay they don't need more shooting they need to make the shots they take.
Can Monroe and Smith coexist? Do they trade one to keep the other? Will Monroe even stay if they trade Smith?

Monroe is gone next year. No way you sign the qualifying offer without skipping town.

I think our outside shooting will improve with KCP in his second year, the addition of Augustine, Butler and Jodie Meeks and Josh Smith moving back to PF.

Our offense was actually middle of the pack last year but our defense was absolutely horrible. I think that's where we can improve the most.

Backcourt is garbage. Smith is trash but Drummond and Monroe are both beasts. 10 seed in East.

Stan Van done lost his damn mind.

They should just trade this kid.

I honestly wonder if they are trying to sandbag him by killing his value.

No matter what, if he goes to the bench, he will leave them with the quicks in the Summer.

Early word out of Detroit is big man Greg Monroe will come off the bench. New coach Stan Van Gundy prefers a smaller lineup and may start Andre Drummond and Josh Smith as the Pistons' bigs. Smith started at small forward last season.

I don't think VanGundy has lost his mind. There were no good offers for trading Monroe this summer, and Stan still needs to evaluate what he has and what he needs. With Rondo and Smith loving each other I wouldn't be surprised to see the Pistons try and work something with Boston during the season if Rondo looks good when he returns.

Two more days. Please vote for an option in this thread and any other that you have not voted on yet. I compiled the results in the NFL and I would like to do the same with the NBA. Thank you.

Detroit is a sleeper for me. They will make the playoffs if they can be cohesive, if not they are in the lottery with the 00ers.
