Yup.. 0 off of lester who nobody would've hit that night
3 off buckholtz and the sox pen.. (remind me what clay's era is again)
and they torched dempster.. yes 12 runs
and thus in those 3 games they go 2-1 oh look at that a series win.

now what was your point again

LOL
My point was that the offense has not gotten any more consistant.

What about the 60% of their games "in the starting to heat up period" where they score less than 4 runs?

Go!

Sure, I'll put some money on that. Memphis has too much size, they're great defensively. They're back court is on par with one of the best in the league. They have 2 first team all defense guys in Allen and Gasol (DPOY). San Antonio is having a rough time with Golden State. If they have a long series with Memphis, Memphis will wear them down.

Memphis is the one team Miami does not want to face in the finals.

Yes... to all...

Miami has nothing for the tandem of Randolph and Gasol down low...

Allen can lock down Wade... Or Chalmers/Cole if Wade keeps looking like a shell of what he once was...

If Conley stays hot... Memphis will give Miami fits...

I think Pacers take more than 1, they managed to take 2 games last year, I dont see how they cant slow down Miami and keep things close and win 2-3 games very ugly. After that long series with Indiana, Memphis will pick them apart, unless the referees have something to say about it and David Stern.

If anyone is going to beat Miami, it's going to be Memphis.

Pacers can't give Miami a series. They have the toughness, defense and rebounding... But they just can't score.

Pacers will struggle to score 80 points a game vs Miami.

The Pacers are one trade away from being real contenders... They are in desperate need of a true superstar...

They'll keep the games close vs Miami, but they won't win more than one.

I agree with all that, but think they could take 2 easy in that series

And Danny Granger ain't that guy

I loved Shumpert when he was in Kid 'n Play. I hope he does that crazy dance of his.

The offense is picking up?
the same offense that scored

0 3 12 this weekend?!

The same offense that has scored 4 runs or less in 6 of their last 10 games?
When your team ERA is over 5.00, scoring 4 runs or less 60% of the time is bad.

But they scored 12 on Sunday so they are on a roll!

oh and since you're quoting what the offense did this weekend. remind me again what the starters did this weekend?

And three weeks ago it was "Jays are starting to come around and after these 4 games with the Yankees, things will look a lot different, laugh now suckers" -Heat

Maybe you should shut the fuck up until they actually gain a game or two.

I'm not a sox fan. The Sox aren't the Yankees

I just know the Blue Jays are 3-18 in the Bronx in their last 21. not a typo

Not to mention the Yankees are blistering hot right now

Anything can happen, but I like the Yanks chances

Sox lost that series because when they pitch well they usually don't hit (Buchholz game), Dempster remembered he was Dempster, and Tazawa doesn't have the mentality of a closer. Buerhle, who has been lit up by everyone, stifled the Sox.

Root all you want.

As long as E-5 is on the roster, a losing season is guaranteed.

I know they are. The West is week just like the AL and the AFC for that matter. Anyone coming out of those leagues/conferences/divisions should be considered a circumstantial champ.
