historical rates.. um.. the red sox are in a streak of losing 8-10 (sorry sox fans just tryna prove a point here) it happens. who's to say during that streak the jays aren't winning 8-10. your gloom and doom post and thoughts don't change my mind. i've seen it done before. with the blue jays being the team who has overcome being down more games then they are now.
second, who comes on a message board spell checking?
third, those 4 teams are in the same division as the jays are so they play them head to head. beat them and that lead deminishes.
glad your enjoying my post, cus i ain't going nowhere and when we do overcome this slow start it'll be even more fun for you here.. that's a promise

Not spell checking - trying to teach you the correct word
Break and Brake are not the same thing. Sorry if I am trying to help you - remain ignorant if you want!

It's not a SLOW START, the Jays are a very very very flawed team that I pointed out in March and has proven to be 100% correct.
You are talking about bringing guys with ZERO Major League Experience from AA to make this Historic Run?! :laugh3::laugh3:

Again, what exactly is going to happen to make this magical run - and don't just say "they can't play this bad all year".

Lastly - how many times have you said this year "we play them head to head, it's gonna be a different story after thest 3 / 4 games" and have ended up worse then you were before them?

But but - the Jays are gonna do it!!!

I like to mention the Memphis Grizzlies are winning it all. After the Pacers take the Heat to 7 games and lose while physically beating them up in the process. Memphis will then beat the Heat in 5.

Morrow is starting tomorrow he missed a start from back stiffness. romero has been sent out. johnson is on the DL triceps. scheduled for rehab monday. and happ got hit in the head by a line drive. in the mean time the jays are going with a four man rotation because they have a few days off in between a few starters starts.
i think by the 28th. we may see Nolin up.. can't say i am mad about that though. offense is picking up and with dickey and morrow going in this series i feel good about this two game set.

The offense is picking up?
the same offense that scored

0 3 12 this weekend?!

The same offense that has scored 4 runs or less in 6 of their last 10 games?
When your team ERA is over 5.00, scoring 4 runs or less 60% of the time is bad.

But they scored 12 on Sunday so they are on a roll!

They really need to stop hitting solo homers...

bautista has been getting on base at a very high clip
so has lind
encarnacion has benefited from it.
and so has derosa.
they are getting on base more and starting to actually snap out the funk. don't worry. they are coming around

Sure, I'll put some money on that. Memphis has too much size, they're great defensively. They're back court is on par with one of the best in the league. They have 2 first team all defense guys in Allen and Gasol (DPOY). San Antonio is having a rough time with Golden State. If they have a long series with Memphis, Memphis will wear them down.

Memphis is the one team Miami does not want to face in the finals.

If anyone is going to beat Miami, it's going to be Memphis.

Pacers can't give Miami a series. They have the toughness, defense and rebounding... But they just can't score.

Pacers will struggle to score 80 points a game vs Miami.

The Pacers are one trade away from being real contenders... They are in desperate need of a true superstar...

They'll keep the games close vs Miami, but they won't win more than one.

Yup.. 0 off of lester who nobody would've hit that night
3 off buckholtz and the sox pen.. (remind me what clay's era is again)
and they torched dempster.. yes 12 runs
and thus in those 3 games they go 2-1 oh look at that a series win.

now what was your point again

In the month of May the Blue Jays have an OBP of .318 compared to their april total of .294.

The Yankees OBP in may is .289.....................

Shut the fuck up about OBP.

We will wait till your scenario plays out. If the Heat face the Grizzles, $100 bucks on the Heat.
