If you are going to compare how your defense fared against a team. You take all the games they played against OTHER teams, then compare it to what they did against you.

I'm not doing that. If you really think you faced 4 powerhouse offenses and want to try and pull out data, be my guest. Florida's offense is notoriously trash, I couldn't name a single player on Cincy's offense, which is playing under a defensive guy with barely 1 year of real HC experience, Air Force has one game against SDSU and one against a program I didn't even know existed, and Purdue is Purdue.

We're 4 games in, it's way too early to say definitively. michigan's defense has looked good, but has faced nobody with any sort of teeth whatsoever on offense. Same with Wisconsin and Minnesota, but probably even worse than michigan. At this point, I'd say Penn St. has the strongest case to be made.

Louisville has given up 28 points to Purdue, 35 points to NC, and 47 points to Clemson. They have a shit defense so far.

The fact is, Michigan is statistically the number 1 defense right now. They were the number 1 defense last year as well. The issues with Michigan is obviously the offense. I still think they could give up some big yardage a couple of times this year, but their defense is great.

The 93rd ranked offense is the best PSU has faced. The 3 others are in the 100's. If UM has faced shitty offenses, what has PSU faced?
