Pretty sure we could have signed the best out there for 15 million for a season.
We Im pretty sure you cant get the best olineman out there for 15 mill, but I get what youre saying.......

Ok...So that's one. Now the C from Atlanta and the kid from LSU at guard and then we're off.
I wonder if he’s seen as a starter here or not.
He was a pro bowl injury replacement. We had Trubisky in the pro bowl....
The problem is not the sixth round pick (Fields pick maybe?) The problem is his cap hit this season is 15 million. Two more years of contract at 9 million. So even if he is released, the number is still 15. Pretty sure we could have signed the best out there for 15 million for a season.
Top ten ends with 3 guys making 16 million a year, but yeah, I guess whoever signs a contract this year will want to be the highest paid guard in the NFL.We Im pretty sure you cant get the best olineman out there for 15 mill, but I get what youre saying.......

Trading for Joe Thuney. What did we give up is what I'm trying to figure out.
4th rounder.....
Thuney was voted team MVP of the Chiefs by his teammates and was an all-pro last season. Played both guard and tackle. I don't know what more you could want in a player. I understand he isn't young any longer, but this take is trash. So last year we signed the Rams old center, now we sign their old guard. (I actually saw a picture of Johnson today snapping the football).
Now KC has developed a new guard behind Thuney and made him available to save cap money.
Its sad that this is where we are, buying expensive used trucks because our drafts for the O line have been shit.
Big upgrade, could be a big upgrade at RB with 10, but there needs to be a plan to replace these guys in the next year or two.
