I'm not sure who I would have picjed a
I think they should’ve taken Mykel Williams with the first pick. I think they were meaning for oline, but even Banks went 9th, so any oline was a reach and with no trade back. Watching the lions and Vikings take players I like didn’t help either.
I'd rather of seen the take Warren over Loveland being they took te at 10.....
I was on the mend at 10 at who to take myself,my feeling was our first 3 picks should have been,in any order,ol-dl-rb.....not te then wr.....holyshit man.
Any position other wr,te,qb and rb(being Jeanty was gone) for me would have been a better pick than Loveland...

In my mind, Loveland and Warren are equals. Some like Warren better. Some like Loveland better. It took Warren until his 5th year to show success at Penn State. Loveland is much younger and better as a receiver down field. Warren can run wildcat. I think I would feel the same about picking Loveland as if we picked Warren.

Having said all of that, I agree, we needed other positions much worse than we needed a TE and WR. However, I’m not against drafting the best player available. Loveland is debatable, but Luther burden was clearly the BPA and a bit of a steal where we took him.

Reading more about shemar turner has me really excited though. He played significant time at all DLine positions in college. He was going to be a first round selection until he had a down year last year, but he was playing with a stress fracture in his foot. If he comes in healthy, he might be a steal as well.

. The key to it was Goff throwing in basically no windows, eating interceptions to try to make plays.

Not sure why you keep saying Goff throws to tight windows when every metric available says Detroit receivers were top 5 in the league in route separation.

Just stop talking about football. You’re bad at it.

I will say Turner looks violent, I like that. He plays mean. A lot of 15 yard flags though.

Been far too long since we had some of this kind of action:

This is the kind of post I will think about when Caleb gets sacked or we have no pass rush during the season.

Fuck… and now the best remaining RBs are being taken right before us… Really thought we had Skattebo.

I just read a comment that the LB we just picked has a ceiling of Velus Jones Jr and I can't stop laughing. God bless the internet.

I'm glad the local radio guys called this draft out this morning. Basically their response was: "Fine, you did your thing in this draft, BUT if we suck and don't make the playoffs this season...Heads need to f*cking roll."

I'm 100% with this. You wanna gamble? OK...But if you lose you need to pay the debt...in this case, your job Mr. Poles.

Rylie Mills to the Seahawks

He is my distant cousin's son. Played at ND. I don't see that side of the family much at all but I now I have an NFL player in my family.

Absolutely. If this is a 6 win team next year Poles needs to be sent packing.

no running back taken, I still like Roschon and Wheeler maybe getting a shot. The Homer signing is hopefully just for special teams, but thats pretty expensive.

Still the last thing I want to hear is Poles getting an extension before the season starts.

At least they stopped planning the riots now that pick 144 is in the books. Good luck Cleveland. Deion is making The old man Ball look like Mother goose.

If Poles drafts a guy that can jump out of a pool he will complete the Jerry Angelo trifecta.
