2 hour premier was last night, thoughts?

After an extremely slow start to the show I thought it really picked up towards the end and could be setting up for something good. Seemed to be trying to ride the Game of Thrones coat tail a bit but I can live with that.

Hope it turns out well and ups the action

Had it on for 1/2 a second at dinner last night, but had just gone through Happy 3 hours and a few bowls so don't recall much.

He had it on for .5 seconds just after being at happy hour for 3 hours and doing some chiefin. So he was drunk and high and will therefore watch his DVR recording at a later date and give the show "the college try".

I was frustrated with the sound recording quality of The Bastard Executioner. I had to turn the TV volume up to 100, but still had problems hearing the dialog. I missed approx 25% of the words being spoken. Sure, some of this can be attributed to the British accents, but not that much.

I'm going to attempt to watch it again via internet stream on the FX website and hopefully it will sound better through my 5.1 computer speakers.

I re-watched the whole thing again. X-large plasma unit (65"), proper 6.1 surround (simulated 6.1) and it wasn't half bad.

Kind of a slow start as was mentioned but the plot thickened as it went on.

Honestly, the only way I can watch the third batman movie with Bane is with the closed captions on. Might be a suggestion to try.
