Lefty and me did a small deal. I traded Phillip Lindsay and a 2022 second for Penny and a 2021 third ( 3.06). Lefty working on my homer weakness.

I get my '22 #1 pick back, Harold's '22 #2, the '21 3.4, P. Lindsay, Jimmy Garrapolo, and J. McNichols

Harold's get A. Jones's handcuff, a QB2 upgrade for a couple years anyways, and a maybe worth something, maybe worth nothing-deoends on his role wherever he signs- Jamaal Williams.

I restock my '22 draft, and I've got a soft spot in my heart for a scrapper like Lindsay, even if the realist in me knows he's gonna have a hard time being relevant again. As for JimmyG..come take him...please. and McNichols? On the off chance he sticks in Ten, I'll have that backfield sewn up..if not, meh, maybe I get lucky and he signs in Oakland to be Jacobs backup?

Well if reports are accurate, and Williams is signing with Detriot, even assuming AP is elsewhere..with Swift and K. Johnson around..I do believe its more on the "maybe worth nothing" side

Pleasure? as always @TREFF - Think the deal gives me a high level backup (starter level), short-term QB upgrade and Jamaal. The news on Williams broke after the deal since I went into it with the hopes he went to either MIA or ARI, or even the frggin Jets. I guess DET isn't the worst place since it could have been NE, BAL, TB, etc - and there is little competition for that #2 spot., Treff gets a big bump going into the 2022 draft.
I had told my self I was not moving future picks again this yr but it does make my team better for the short-term and my RB depth got measurably better. ... besides, the loss of those 2022 picks will give me something to scheme over during the draft and into next season. ....

Nice trade for both of you. Clemson now has his TE position secured and your back in the draft. Clemson in a position to add enough quality to be a contender this season with those picks of his.
