The Bandit Dynasty League Thread

[Bandit]

Well historically our leagues have drafted a lot of RBs in the first round, but I seriously have a hard time seeing that happen this year. The quality of RBs is way down this draft. This crop of RBs are similar to the 2019 draft, but with a stronger WR crop. So staring with the 1.03 hard to say what position gets drafted IMO. Depends on the needs of the team drafting that spot. In this league I see Clemson using the pick on Lawrence, because it's a position of need and also because he's a big Clemson homer to boot.

Well, here's the 2019 draft first two rounds and we still managed to draft 6 in the first round and 3 in the 2nd round. I do agree that the wide receivers this year are better than that year though.

If Harris had found a better home than NE, he'd have gone in the first too

And how long do you wait to take the Gainsworth's, Hubbard's, Carter's when they land in spots that certainly would appear to have the job basically handed to them, like Pitt, or ATL, or da Jets? And which one is this year's Vaughn, who could've had a spot, but he just wasn't that guy?

Landing spot could vault a RB or two, or maybe none of those sweet landing spots draft those 3rd tier RBs but instead sign a FA RB or draft Harris or Etienne or Williams. . I've got my eye on a RB that I hope makes it to me in round 3 ( hasn't been mentioned by a soul yet). Guess we'll see how it goes, all I know is I got minimum interest in those 3rd tier RBs mentioned thus far.

ahhh, the lovely reminder of the 2019 draft, when I thought I was going to land Monty and Sanders (based off text convos with Roll Tide), so I traded my 2020 1st and 2nd for 1.3.
Then I had AJ Brown as my WR1 before the draft, but pushed him down after he landed in TEN (well before our draft, so zero consideration in taking him).

Figured N'Keal/DK were even, but decided to go N'Keal since I bought into the "gronk is gone, TB12 needs a new red zone threat" narrative.

This game sure is a lot of fun sometimes!

All very interesting gents. .... the wheels are spinning. There are obviously exception to the landing spot rule. Best example is Kamara who got pushed down on many list because AP and I think Ingram were still in NO at the time. Recently, many moved Jefferson down after landing in MIN (I know I did - duh). Shit happens - unexpected trades, injuries, holdouts that can vault a guys up - the main reason dynasty is so much fun. Hell, a trade 'throw in' can be a game changer at times. ...

Right? Heck, if the chips fall the other way, and free agency plus "the big 3", fills all the obvious "gold mines", those lower tier RB's might not get sniffed at all in the first.

I've got my eye on a RB that I hope makes it to me in round 3 ( hasn't been mentioned by a soul yet).

now my curiosity is piqued...is it the same name that I intentionally left out of my post? Or is it even deeper and I have more homework to do...hmmmm.

Well, I'm interested, but not sure what you're looking for, although if you want a mid first that pretty much narrows it down to me and @Clemson74 since I have 1.1, 1.7, and 1.8 and he has 1.2, 1.3, and 1.6 and the only other pick in the top 8 belongs to The Wrecking Crew and I know you don't mean him because he never responds to anything.
