Titans need to make up their minds. Are you contending or going rebuild? They've let OL and defensive players go. Drafted QBs for the future. Yet the won't trade Tannehill or Henry and now signed DHop. You can't do both at the same time. Otherwise you'll just be stuck in Jeff Fisher Land going a game under .500 in perpetuity.

If they aren't sellers after 1 more college try to start the season, then I really have no idea what the point of keeping all those dudes was.

Tannehill will be a lot better with a #1 WR. Oline was improved in the offseason with the most pro ready Olinemen in the draft. The previous GM made a mess of the cap. The new guy was stuck. The defensive losses were minimal anyway. Vrabel can coach up another LB.

Getting rid of them all and sucking isn't a plan.

I think they're pretty clearly trying to win next year and then blowing everything up.

Both of the qbs they drafted could use a year to sit.

For reference his previous contract with the Cardinals was for $19.5M in 2023 and $14M+ in 2024. Provisionally it looks like he's taking a pay cut but i'd like to see the new contract details posted on Spotrac.

Maybe the Titans should have just extended AJ Brown if they were going to do this.

Horses for courses. I think Hopkins is a better fit for Tannehill than he would be for more accurate placement passers. However, if they're moving on from Tannehill...:noidea:.

Have you seen the RB market? No one was going to give up picks to pay Henry over $10m for this coming season.

And the Titans couldn’t part with Tannehill because of the dead cap hit they would have had to absorb.

Titans have a new GM this off-season. But in the modern NFL with the cap and all the guaranteed money that is handed out these days, they really can’t put out their full vision of a team until year 2 or 3.

Honestly I was against him signing with us due to his age...

That's how I felt about him signing with the Pats. I'd rather use that money elsewhere considering the age and injury history.

You remain the closest I wanna be to Stephen A and his opinions on sports.
Stephen doesn't ask questions he just talks. You are making very little sense and probably have low blood sugar. Go get a snack.
