FUCK THIS SHIT
Wow - Duke is flat out terrible. Didn't deserve this win today.
Was it just me, or did the ball hit the rim on the play were the Wake coach was arguing that there should be 1 second on the clock?
It did hit the rim.
I don't know if Crawford's shot hit the rim or not. But Collins clearly touched it last going out of bounds.
Leaving Wilbekin on Kennard was a head scratcher. Its obvious that Manning isn't going to be the most tactical coach. He's going to need to build his program at Wake based off of recruiting classes like 2015 and 2017 (on paper) and good player development. I also like his offensive sets, but every now and then, he does head scratching things like having Wilbekin defend arguably the best player in the ACC.
The best thing that happened to Duke was Tatum getting in foul trouble. If he's out there at the end Kennard doesn't get to hit that winning shot or score 34 points.
I said it to myself at the time, but Tatum fouling out was a blessing in disguise for Duke. That kid just doesn't play team oriented basketball. He just isn't a Duke player.
I have no idea why Capel and staff cannot see he's a ball stopper. You may wonder about Manning's motives. But even at Duke I second guess. A bunch this season.
Hopefully (i generally pull for the NC schools when they aren't playing Wake), this is an eye opener for Duke. Have to be stern with Tatum and roles need to be defined. Kennard is your go to guy. Not Tatum.

Remind me of Austin Rivers who I never thought was a Duke player either

These refs in this Duke/Wake game is awful. Let the kids play. Just called a BS 4th foul on Giles
