Without Robinson we were still able to control basically the whole game vs Duke. Without Zion, they're in some trouble. They've got talent, but don't play as a team at all.

Zion waiting on that next ransom payment to clear before he comes back.

I know that's the truth, but I'd be shocked if he wasn't indirectly on Nike's payroll, already.

They aren't great at hitting outside shots. With no Zion, there's no interior game whatsoever so you can really defend Duke and get into them to take away driving lanes. That makes hitting outside shots even more difficult for a team that already struggles in that area.

28 missed 3s in a row for Jack White makes Bede look like a 3pt specialist.

They just say- He's Day-To-Day, which if I was betting he probably could go right now if needed like in tournament play, but to be on the safe side we'll hold him out for a couple weeks to make sure

Glad I had my league night last night and missed the game huh?

I am thinking at this point Duke might just shut him down until tournament time. Clearly they miss him badly however and it cost them the # 1 seed

Considering what happened to last year's #1 that might not be a bad thing.

If Zion wants to play then he should play, whatever his time table for recovery is he should do it. But I don't think they've missed that window of opportunity for a #1 seed yet, too many quality wins for that to happen yet. They need him back no doubt about it.

Noles bounce back and knock off Notre Dame at home Monday night. Struggled more than I would have hoped, but it was nice to see them not let 1 loss to a really good team spiral out of control and turn into 3 or 4 losses like earlier this year. If this team locks in defensively in the NCAA Tournament, I think we're good enough for another elite 8 type run. That being said, it would not shock me in the least to lose in the first round to a 12 or 13 seed.

Well, we do know now that our game vs VPI will be for the 4th seed
and the double-bye in the tourney. (As long as we hold service up
at Wake on the final night).

NC St is important for a National Seed but not for the Tourney's
4th seed. We have to beat VPI to gain the tiebreaker.
(Tech only has two remaining us and then they host Miami and they'll run them out of the gym.)

No doubt he wants to play and appears he can play now. I just think Duke is playing it very safe with him. With last night's loss, the window to get the #1 seed is certainly questionable. The way UNC is playing they could squeak in and grab it

I'm amazed at how poor Tre is on offense for a top-10 recruit. Our fanbase is pretty harsh on Bede for his lack of production, but he's at least a ~35-40% 3-pt shooter. He just doesn't have volume. Greenberg highlighting us completely ignoring Tre was pretty embarrassing. Feel like that's going to be the blueprint to beat Duke until Zion is back.

No way he's out for the UNC game, right?

I'd just sit him the rest of the season and settle for a 2-seed.

Probably the smartest thing to do. I just don't see him sitting v UNC. If he was in a huge walking boot or cast then ok, but he was jumping around the sidelines the game before

Gosh I hope Kabengele stays one more year. We could be decent if he does. I think you're spot on. We could also go small if Kabengele stays and start him at the 5 and have Gray start at the 4. Polite will add depth off the bench. Just don't know if Leonard would go with Balsa as a freshman. Patrick Williams is another legit incoming freshman that could start. Naheem McLeod comes in as the next 7'3 monster off the bench. Ham always seems to find those guys.
