Gosh I hope Kabengele stays one more year. We could be decent if he does. I think you're spot on. We could also go small if Kabengele stays and start him at the 5 and have Gray start at the 4. Polite will add depth off the bench. Just don't know if Leonard would go with Balsa as a freshman. Patrick Williams is another legit incoming freshman that could start. Naheem McLeod comes in as the next 7'3 monster off the bench. Ham always seems to find those guys.

I really dread playing FSU. Buzz wants a roster of <6'7" guys...and FSU builds their team on giants.

I'm amazed at how poor Tre is on offense for a top-10 recruit. Our fanbase is pretty harsh on Bede for his lack of production, but he's at least a ~35-40% 3-pt shooter. He just doesn't have volume. Greenberg highlighting us completely ignoring Tre was pretty embarrassing. Feel like that's going to be the blueprint to beat Duke until Zion is back.

Tre Jones may be the least effective OAD we've ever had at Duke. Here's an eye-opening stat:

Jack White has missed 28 3-pointers in a row and still has a better 3-point percentage on the year (26.5%) than Tre Jones (24.6%).

Probably the smartest thing to do. I just don't see him sitting v UNC. If he was in a huge walking boot or cast then ok, but he was jumping around the sidelines the game before

No Zion...He doesn't just impact the offense, it has changed the level of aggressiveness on D for Duke...Without Zion aggressively jumping on ball screens, or protecting the basket opponents are much more comfortable running their offense in the last 3 games.

Yep, you just don't lose the best player in the country and not be affected.

Amen brother because Zion also brings a lot of intangibles to his game that we don't see in the box scores like energizing his teammates and causing the opposing team to change their game plan several times during the course of the game.

It’s hard to see a starting lineup w/o a 7-footer. I think he’s talented enough that he starts. Williams is a pg/ball handler. He might have a big impact with the 2nd team year one.

For those of you I have gotten to know you know that I despise the Tar Heels. With that said, ole Roy has recruited himself a great player named Coby White. With that said, Coby needs a haircut!

But they are on fire and Duke not so much. I still am thinking Duke loses its #1 seed and gets 2nd or 3rd

OK, the stage is set for the final double-bye spot. FSU 11-5 in the league hosts 11-5 VPI on Tuesday night.
