Sounds like he could be back in time for the Phil Knight Invitational. I think they should be able to take care of Northern Iowa, Bucknell and Stanford without him. Those aren't bad teams, so it could get interesting.

A rotation of Charlotte/Greensboro/DC/Atlanta, or making Charlotte the annual host is an easy concept to understand. Not sure why Swofford is struggling with it.

Big rumor on OGBoards that Jamie Lewis is going to commit to Wake within the next 10 days. The source of the rumor is the same guy that Mucius was a lock to Wake for months before he eventually committed to the Deacs.

Lewis is a 4* and is ranked #98 nationally on Rivals. #88 on 247sports, #119 on the 247sports composite. His film passes the eye test to me. Would be a great addition to a class that already consists of Hoard, Mucius and Wright Jr. #godeacs

Especially when you consider the fact that it isn't even a real scrimmage. They just work on situational plays half of the scrimmage. The exhibition games against D2 and D3 schools are more relevant than the secret scrimmages.

Saw that last night as well. What a huge blow. I don't see anyway they beat UCLA. My guess is this will be a 3/4 game suspension, as it's not all that bad. They'll have to pay it back, which shouldn't take long given the amount.

I doubt they were going to beat UCLA, even with Okogie and Jackson. I think it is going to be downright ugly, now. Who is going to score the ball for them?

#98 nationally on Rivals, #119 on 247, 4* UR on ESPN.

He's had some injury problems, so hopefully those issues are behind him. Pretty nice class assembled by Manning.

I didn't think they were going to beat them either even with them, but now, like you said, it could get ugly. I'm wondering without them if they'll drop any of the next 3(if they are suspended that many games) before Northwestern in the ACC/Big Challenge? They play 3 pretty bad opponents, even for mid/low major teams, but it's worth pointing out, I think.
