Fire Stallings NOW!!!Pitt is 0-2 with losses to #141 Montana and #168 Navy.

Over/Under 6.5 wins for Pittsburgh this year, what do you take? I would say for now they only have 2 sure wins against McNeese State and Delaware State. Pretty sad how far the program has fallen when games against High Point, UCSB, Lehigh and Mt. Saint Mary's are probably toss up games.
Fire Stallings NOW!!!
I've got them at 6-26 (0-18) or 7-25 (1-17). I could also see them going 9-23, but with them still going 0-18 or 1-17 in ACC play.
I have no idea what the AD was thinking when they hired this putz in the first place. Why wait? They aren't making any post season tourneys anyway!!! Dump him now and get a start on the search for a new HC.Yeah, I've seen this show before. Stallings has created such a mess, Pitt would be better off cutting their losses and moving on after the conclusion of the regular season.
I'd have about the same, which is staggering considering where they were as a program under Howland and Dixon. They've won at least 19 games since 2001. Which ACC game do you think they could potentially win?

I thinks its more likely they go 0-18, but its really hard to go winless in the ACC.
I could see them potentially beating GT or BC at home, especially if GT doesn't get Okogie and Jackson back. I don't think its likely, but it could happen if Pitt brings their A game, while BC or GT just sleepwalk.
Those were the two that stuck out to me as well, and I could see that happening. But yeah I'd put the odds of them going winless better than winning a game.
I don't see how you force out Jamie Dixon, and then hire someone that was just forced out of an SEC school. It doesn't make any sense. You either hang on to Dixon, or hire an up and comer.
I'll say this about Stallings, when he was hired at Pitt, he was responsible for 50% of Vandy's NCAA Tournament appearances, so he had that going for him. He's been a complete disaster at Pitt, though.
The worst thing about this for Pitt is that Stallings' recruiting has been questionable at best. I'm getting Jeff Bzdelik-like vibes for Stallings and Pitt right now. They really need to move on, asap.
Ha just said above he was able to attract some decent talent there. He was able to get some guys every once in a while, but you're probably right, from a consistency stand point it could have been better. It's weird he had 2 NBA guys on his roster his last year and he struggled to get to the tournament, which is a bad indictment.
His recruiting at Vandy was solid. His recruiting at Pitt, so far, has been pretty bad.

Do they even have an A game anymore???I thinks its more likely they go 0-18, but its really hard to go winless in the ACC.

Also, it doesn't look for Stallings that Vandy could potentially pull in a top 6 class if they land Shittu and Langford.
