The reason they sucked this year was because of injuries… Dumars’ inability to adapt led to the Pistons’ downfall after their mid-00’s core started to age.

Wouldn't say all about injuries....though bringing in guys who get hurt a lot probably didn't help. They also don't have much to show for the AD trade and passed on Garland/Hunter to move down and take Hayes...who they lost for nothing.

You do realize that these Iverson and Curry numbers also say, even if all the other shots were mid rangers (which they weren't), that they score more points if they just shoot 3's (3pt% * 3 > 2pt% *2). And with Barkley, no one is going to tell a 26% shooter to launch 3s.
But that is all beside the point, as I said before, because you completely ignore the fact that A LOT of this is finishing at the rim for these guys which everyone agrees is a good shot.
