Kyrie Hater
so what…
He makes mistakes
Anyone would still want him on their team
The acting out is the problem…
I believe fans don’t like seein a stud go out like a putz
Every player ever makes mistakes.
Even you, believe it or not.

He’s confident in saying MJ would have been one of the best…I am criticizing MJ by disagreeing with someone who said MJ would have been one of the best 3 point shooters in the league if he played today?
That isn’t criticism. That is applying facts and logic.
You are all over the place. You are coming at me for disagreeing with a statement you clearly don’t agree with. How about checking the person who said it?
Ask yourself that questionHow far you gonna dig yourself?
Did Jordan ever play against one of the best teams in NBA history in b2b finals?
He’s confident in saying MJ would have been one of the best…
so what, it’s what he believes.
You have a problem with that cause you believe it wasn’t in MJ’s skill set …
So what, it’s what you believe
Dude, you can’t prove a dam thing about what would or could have been either…Yes. Good summary mostly.
You are only missing that I am using facts against his blind optimism. But otherwise this is the first accurate account you have made in this back and forth.
And I don’t have a problem with it. Anyone is free to have any crazy opinion they want.
But when they do put something like that out for consumption, I will always make fun of it.
Dude, you can’t prove a dam thing about what would or could have been either…
you’re entitled to your opinion, but you’re not entitled to your own facts
The Thunder have 3 of the top 6 perimeter defenders in the league with Dort, SGA and Jdub. Throw Caruso in there and it will be hard for any of them to win it. Dort is the guy though and the whole team agrees with that. He has to be first team all defense or they need to quit doing it.Oh I agree completely. I am always preaching that.
But they do matter for these accolades.
It is why Allen Iverson finished top 10 in DPOY voting 1 year.
Voters are a little better today, but if they are looking at SGA vs Dort, I bet they give the nod to SGA because of the name brand and the defensive stats.
That is not on the player in any way.
That is on the officials and more realistically the league office.
If that stuff gets called, players won’t do it. If it doesn’t get called, why wouldn’t you take an extra step from time to time to gain an advantage?
Any competitor is going to take advantage of potential calls that officials are ignoring.
Different sport, but it's a derivative of the philosophy the Seahawks Legion of Boom had. Their DB's played a very physical style and they got away with a fair amount PI and holding because they put the onus on the refs to call it figuring they wouldn't/couldn't call everything.
In the NBA, if a ref is going to let you get away with an extra step or palming the ball...you absolutely do it if you're trying to win.
Except, of course, MJ who according to the brilliant analysis of some of the basketball masterminds on here...never had to resort to such tactics. lol
Would be dumb not to.
“The other team is holding my guys, and the refs aren’t calling it, but I’m going to play it clean because I respect the integrity of the game too much”.
Said no competitor ever
"This is not on the player in any way" Seriously? Your statement indicates a player is not only willing but should be encouraged to sacrifice the integrity of the game to "win" at any cost. Is it any wonder we have kids in middle school and high school athletics doing the same shit just to win? That is not on the player in any way.

I think we should put trampolines on every court in pro cities and bring back Slam Ball!! Then every player can do what he wants to "win".
What? I played the game by the rules and in Competitve Powerlifting, you get called on the spot and then you are screwed? You get removed from the competition that day. Personally, I know of several local scholastic programs that play by the rules of the game and the coaches demand protecting the Integrity of the Game or they don't play in that school ever again.Would be dumb not to.

lol, always the second guy that gets called
More great advice
Yea I get the gist of what you are saying, tlance. I am railing against the rabbit hole many Sports Professions have gone down to protect only winning and perhaps that is one of the reasons the NBA TV ratings continue decline. Alot of young people don't watch sports anymore for this reason and many others. The way the game is called has changed.
This isn’t about integrity at all.
It is about playing by the same rules as everyone else.
If the refs consistently stop calling something, players adjust to it, and yes, use it to their advantage.
And yes, it is dumb not to do that.

that is my pointLOL.
No, not talking about retaliation.
Talking about adjusting to how the game is officiated and playing accordingly.
Leagues change what calls get emphasized every year.
