Not sure what you are talking about.

But the rest of us are talking about traveling being officiated differently in basketball today vs. 40 years ago.

You are blaming the wrong people.
I think I've explained what and whom I am blaming. Just giving you examples of sports where we play the games respecting the rules and the integrity of the competitions (game) so that the results are integrity-based.

In Weightlifting (Powerlifting and Olympic Lifting) the safeguards against cheating are in place and are very reliable. They are highly sophisticated and they have become difficult to circumvent. Olympic cycling is another example.

All of this to say that there are arenas of sport where players are held accountable and they play by the rules even if they are not always detected.

That was in response to your statement that there are no competitors who consistently play by the rules, or something to that affect.

You were probably referring to mostly Professional Basketball, I am sure.

Bull crap

The players are the ones dictating the game not the refs

The clutchin in grabbin is so rampant the refs , like nfl refs , hands are tied!

that is my point

Ya think the ref ain’t gonna call something cause he didn’t call it on other team , you would chance that?

That’s crazy

None of this is true.

How can you be on here talking about how “soft” the players are 1 minute, and then also talk about how they allow so much clutching and grabbing.

That is not true! Most old schoolers complain that they call too many fouls today.

And when there is trends over time officiating players 100% adjust to it

Really not much of a risk at all.

You have.

And like I said, you should be blaming the NBa for directing officials to loosen up on travel calls if you don’t like it.

Because guess what?

The day officials start calling travel by the book, players start adjusting and they will travel a lot less.

But the league doesn’t want that. You aren’t their target demographic and I don’t think young people care about this even a little bit.

I agree and I have sent several emails to the NBA league office (consumer/fan support portal) on this very issue. And you are right tlance, the league doesn't WANT THAT. You are right. I am not the demographic the league is targeting. I received form emails in response to my inquires. Pretty sad.

And so onward we go in this developing cesspool of crap that resembles little of what the game was really envisioned to be. Enough said!

Well...up 12 but mostly because Ultra Beasley showed up. Gonna be tough though
In the end it hardly matters as neither of our teams are winning the title but that doesn't make me stop hoping they do as well as they can, starting with getting the 6 seed
