I think I've explained what and whom I am blaming. Just giving you examples of sports where we play the games respecting the rules and the integrity of the competitions (game) so that the results are integrity-based.Not sure what you are talking about.
But the rest of us are talking about traveling being officiated differently in basketball today vs. 40 years ago.
You are blaming the wrong people.
In Weightlifting (Powerlifting and Olympic Lifting) the safeguards against cheating are in place and are very reliable. They are highly sophisticated and they have become difficult to circumvent. Olympic cycling is another example.
All of this to say that there are arenas of sport where players are held accountable and they play by the rules even if they are not always detected.
That was in response to your statement that there are no competitors who consistently play by the rules, or something to that affect.
You were probably referring to mostly Professional Basketball, I am sure.
