I disagree. Windy has been leaching off of him to build his career. If he's sick of it, he's got the veteran pull to say so.

So what if Windy launched his career off Lebron? So did a bunch of people, including his boy Mav.

It was a random shot at Windy for no reason, let other people say the obvious.

Mav is a true insider, friend and confidant. Windy is some dork years ahead of him at his high school that's been glomming on to him for 20+ years. Windy acts like he knows Lebron, and Lebron's had enough of it. Not a lot of reason to make it public, but I don't have a problem with it.

You read his whole comment and you agree with it?

Way off.
There wasn’t even an ounce of an exaggeration in my comment

What are you 25 years old?

You have no idea of how a real coach teaches and stresses not only the fundamentals of the game but how to beat the best by playin both ends of the court!

Take your floppin strategy somewhere else

He blew the game obviously lol.

Won the game the night before.

This year will be interesting to see what he has in the tank for the playoffs. Its not even that he is 40 but the dude will have played the most games in nba history by some point next season.

But given he's 40 outside of him, kareem and Stockton I can't think of anyone who was playing AS level ball at 40.

I think the LeBron haters have lost all focus on that
Not true. Saying a guy is the second greatest player is only "hating" when that players defenders are hyper sensitive. If he would stop with the stupid interviews, the criticism would slow down

This whole leflop haters shite. Is stupid already

He’s a great player! PERIOD, nobody denies it!

The great ones don’t act the fool on the court, esp. in front of kids, who love him! WTF kind of an example is that?

And I don’t care if the man is in his 40’s, be a man!

There is no more illogical "fan" on this planet than the guy who rushes to FB every time Lebron does something...good or bad.

At least you follow the sport, people who act like the mid to late 90s were peak basketball and constantly refer to MJ every god damn time basketball comes up are ridiculous

That is what i push back on more than anything really about lebron himself

My opinion is different from s lot of folks. I think when comparing guys from different eras, you have to look at how dominant they were vs the best in the world at that time. Are guys today better players as they are? Obviously. If KAJ, Oscar, Wilt, Doc or MJ were born in 2000, and had modern workouts, supplements, training and AAU, summer camps, etc, would they be better than Nikola Jokic? Also obvious IMO

Of course not, it was an illustration that he couldn't play worse if he were TRYING to throw the game. I just like seeing any criticism of LBJ drawing White Knights with lances at the ready lol

Bullshit.

This you?

Rewatch the last 6 seconds of LeChoke playing defense against air, then throwing an inbound pass so lazy it wouod get a 6th grader benched and tell me he didn't have money on the Bulls

Lebron gets defended when folks who rarely post in this forum show up with their uneducated hot takes.

Literally any other player in the league could have fucked up like Lebron did last night and you wouldn't be in here commenting.

So Giddey learned how to play defense while I was gone? Didn’t see that coming.

You could say that, but it was a HORRIBLY bad turnover by Lebron. Don't know what he was looking at. He had another similar brainfart on a kickout to a corner shooter that was clearly covered earlier in the 4th.

Yeah I saw that he had 8 steals in a game too is where that came from.

Obvious? Very much a matter of opinion. But at the minimum you can acknowledge there is a level boost simply because of the above.

Guys like Mad Dog saying Maurice Lucas would intimidate Giannis?

Clown shit.

Meh, I tend to agree with @Stakesarehigh I think one of the reasons a lot of folks don't like Lebron is that he has too many instances where he says stuff he really shouldn't.

Like that clip where he watches a highlight of himself and says "That's when I knew I was the best to ever do it". It's not up to him to tell everyone else that he's the GOAT, it's up to everyone else to tell him.

As far as Windy...just another instance of Lebron saying something unnecessary. So what if Windy has fashioned himself a career being the "Lebron whisperer"...he's almost always complimentary, is among the first reporters to defend him when he's criticized and isn't taking any money out of Lebron's pocket.

If it bothers him, he could have one of the guys close to him post that on social media.

...and the haters would find fault with him if he didn't answer questions as much as if he answers them in a way they don't like.

You only comment on Lebron when you don't like something. That is hating 101.

Your example of modern training/medicine/nutrition is Jokic of all people? Jokic's advantages are because of his mental game (Luka too). He's a far worse physical specimen than any of the guys you named. IMO, he's prime Arvidas Sabonis in the modern era, which we didn't see in the NBA.
