I didn't say shit about a dynasty lol.

They are very beatable.
and that's why I wasn't so sure about them just being able to turn it up in the postseason....which you did say. simply pointing out why and my reasoning is not a dynasty or can't beat type team. Not suggesting you called them either.

They might and they are really good. But not ready to put them on the level of true dynasties or can't beat teams after 1 title with the easiest path to the Finals I can remember.

Hey you trying to diminish last seasons title? :heh:

Stop that. The Celtics didn't pick who they played.

Boston is sleep walking through the regular season, they gonna turn up when the lights are bright

I don't like that turn it on for the post season stuff. How often has that worked? They gotta find some kinda rhythm before the post season starts.

I'm not sure I buy the turn it on in postseason idea either......Cs are definitely one of the favorites no matter where they are going in though (assuming decent health).

I hate to say it but I think Pop might be done!
Probably so. Most of us though he should have retired already anyway, looks like his body made the decision for him.

I'm not saying you are wrong but just not aware....who are Dray's grudges with?

also maybe Dray changes some when not playing anymore....especially once as long as the Chuckster has been out of his playing days.
Gobert. He called him out while he was on the air. Unprofessional. Maybe he grows up eventually but Barkley at least has a sense of humor + Shaq personality. Draymond has knowledge of course but he seems extremely biased at this point and holds grudges. Could change years after he retires

Yea, he's done. Spurs set up for an attractive hire though

Being able to coach Wemby would certainly attract a few heavy hitters in the coaching world.

That being said, I think Rob Pelinka needs to call up Brian Wright and offer Dalton Knecht and a late 2nd rounder for Wemby!

This is something some analyst pointed out. Boston is a great team and won it last year but what did they do years before? Seemed like they were sleepwalking and a team caught them in the playoffs like Miami. Last year they did face some injured teams (that being said still thought they played like the best team). So I agree, we can’t just assume they will find it in the postseason bc it’s not like they have a long history like the W’s of getting it done when they need to. I obviously still put them at the favorites and they have the experience.

For sure...can even add the Lebron led Cavs (second time). couple seasons we definitely sleepwaked in reg. season and often painful to watch. They likely did know they'd turn it on when needed.

Well, as I've always told my kids..."you can ask and the answer might be no, but if you don't ask, the answer will definitely be no". lol
