Maybe, but remember Sacramento, who drafted him, was fine trading him (yes, Saboinis would be nice, but we're not making that trade in division and our GM wouldn't have been able to pull it off). And maybe we would have been a better team and not gotten Cade.

Yea, not getting Cade would have been an issue.

Yeah that's true....forgot your team been trying to build for a while and not just last season.
Basically since 2008 when they traded Billups to Denver for AI. So, yes, a while.

I disagree. Blake was a publicity stunt, not a viable team.

Fully agree, just that you cant really call it a rebuild until after. They just stayed in medicority mostly from 08 to then

I prefer local. ESPN is garbage

Some of the locals are way too homeristic though. I end up watching a lot of them muted if the other team's feed isn't tolerable (or if both feeds are even available). The Lakers' team seems pretty balanced, but that may just be to a Lakers fan lol.

You know the Lakers are doing a damn good job when even Paul fucking Pierce is giving them props!

I like their format, and their website is my go-to for anything sports related, but it's the people on it that make me cringe!

I'm glad they got rid of JVG and Jackson - I hated those two. Perk and Stephen A are just loud.

Mike Breen is pretty much the only reason my tv isn't on mute most of the time.

Theyre going to prob lose in the first round but this team has Piston 02/03 vibes right before they added Sheed. They definitely need one more big splash and if Cade keeps progressing they gonna be there.

Sorry to keep on about them it's been 15 years since they've been this good lol.
No need to apologize, that's literally what this place is

John Michael is pretty good. Always has been.

Plus, love Serena Winters too! She did the Lakers for a while too.
Didn't realize he was that well known. Hate how he got the job (last guy died whose name escapes me) but do like Michaels a lot. Yeah.....Serena's good, too.

Guess if I was to be nitpicky (serena) I'd say just say "thanks" to guys after an interview as opposed to 'preciate ya but whatever.

When I watch games on League Pass outside of the Lakers, I usually go with the home team broadcasts, and as the Cavs have been kicking ass this year i've seen quite a few games.

John Michael is one of the few commentators that isn't ridiculously biased on every play call that happens against his team. The Knicks with Breen and the Lakers with Stu and Bill are others that are like that off the top of my head.

On the other hand, Michael Grady of the Timberwolves and Chris Marlowe of the Nuggets.... yeah not so much.

I've seen Marlowe (though didn't know name) and for sure he is. Michael does usually seem fair.....It's funny while I love Daugherty as an announcer he can be biased, but often it's in a joking manner. The best is when he talks about former teammates like Nance and Price and he playfully rips them.

Exactly why this guy should not be on tv. Says stupid shit like this.

Or it further proves he's exactly what I've been saying...he's Chuckster 2.0, on many levels.

Get used to it, he's going to be all over NBA media after he retires (if he's not coaching the Warriors)
