I think it is every sport but I am sure it more strict for football. That being said, I don’t doubt he could pass concussion protocol. I’ve had worse happen to me and I was fine. Gonna leave a mark though

the point is the Knicks clearly cant play with the big boys---- definitely not on the same tier as the Celtics and Thunder and Cavs.....not only that but, as is typical, Thibs is running the starting lineup into the ground- partly because it is not a very deep team.

The Knicks are a nice little team but they cant play with the big boys. They are not top tier. A nice little team- but nothing close to a real contender.

The problem is they traded for a big that offers no rim protection and they lost a big that offers that. They lost a guard that fit in perfect, he was clutch, could shoot lights out and defend.
They trade all their future assets for a role player

Yep...prior to about 5ish years ago, for as long as I can remember, the All-Star game formula was the same...spend the first 2.5 - 3 quarters showing off, then spent the last quarter to quarter and half trying to win.

I think that if they went back to that...most folks would be fine with it.

Robinson coming back , for 2 weeks, will help out defensely, but like I said, that will be very short lived

Basketball-reference got Marvin Bagley mixed up with his brother Marcus. It shows on Marcus's page he's the one traded from Washington to Memphis at the deadline and not Marvin's. Not sure if this has been mentioned but the NBA AS game really declined once Kobe retired. Kobe used to challenge people to play their best in it. And I remember when he was younger he wanted to guard Bron in the AS game and defend him all over the court.

Very sad the AS has declined to what it is today.

If you watched the Cavs when Levert scored 15-20 points we blew any team out. Problem was one day he got you 20 the next 3 he would get you 4. Hunter is not only a better defender he is consistent 18 point scorer on the other end. Not surprising every game has been a blowout since the Hunter addition.
