That was before the Hunter trade tho

We should send a thank you note to OKC for beating us so badly pre trade deadline lol

If you watched the Cavs when Levert scored 15-20 points we blew any team out. Problem was one day he got you 20 the next 3 he would get you 4. Hunter is not only a better defender he is consistent 18 point scorer on the other end. Not surprising every game has been a blowout since the Hunter addition.
You were just 1 player away and hopefully ya got him

The Knicks , picked up no one , and I have no friggen idea why, Hart is not a starter, 6th man at best.

Honestly don’t think either team beats SGA’s OKC this year

Good luck

OKC has a lot of veteran teams in the West that may be able to turn it on in the playoffs.

Cavs have to go through Boston

I think the west may be a tougher pass they will find out once the playoffs roll around for OKC.

I didn’t think there originally was a lot of contact that caused him to go to ground like that, it’s why I said he’s on somethin, and i back it with no hands came out to break fall… that’s first reaction if you’re in the right state of mind to protect yourself

Again, I didn’t see a lot of the replay, but he should have been takin into clubhouse for check

I thought in every major sport , hit above shoulder automatic concussion protocol ?
I was a little surprised not checked but don't know the NBA rule on this.

But he was pushed once to start the fall and again while falling. Got left hand/arm down but didn't get enough to completely stop it and right hand/arm not down in time.

Hope the kid's OK...but since he played assume he is.

Well that was a glaring no brainer.....but nonetheless I called it a few hours ago.

142-106
Not a big deal but have seen score reported as 142-106 in many places (including ESPN after game) but was 142-105. No idea why....maybe last shot ruled a 2 and not 3?

again no biggie...just curious.

The problem is they traded for a big that offers no rim protection and they lost a big that offers that. They lost a guard that fit in perfect, he was clutch, could shoot lights out and defend.
They trade all their future assets for a role player
Yeah....5 firsts for Bridges? That's nuts.

Yep and Bridges wasn't really a need IMO either when you already had OG

Love the addition but you are shortchanging Levert IMO. He's a solid player....I suspect now on a team where he is needed to score more he will be at least in the 15-18 ppg range or more once he gets acclimated. We had a number of blowouts before the Hunter addition. also helped had everyone available last night which we had not had for a while.

we were also 2-0 vs. Denver and 1-0 vs. NY pretrade.

I am not saying he was bad, he just isn't anywhere near as good as Hunter. He also is older and not as tall, good at defense, good at 3 point shooting. That matters in the playoffs. I am honestly not sure what OKC was thinking. You hold back in the regular season. I was watching that game thanking them for that beatdown. I didn't think we had enough pre trade vs now post trade. If the game was close or we had beat them there is no way they are messing with the team, especially with having the best record in the NBA imo

I still view Boston as a coin flip and i would say it's about the same with OKC if they make it there. It wasn't a coin flip before the trade imo...We had a chance, but it was likey more 60/40 vs 50/50 now.

I know it's a small sample, but 4 games with Hunter and 4 blowouts. I stand by my Levert comment. All our blowout games were when Levert got us 15 or more.

My opinion but do think he's very close to the level of Hunter though slightly different players and obviously helps Hunter a couple inches taller. I don't think the OKC game mattered much at all as far as the trade. They'd make it regardless simply because even if Hunter not a lot better (and I don't think he is..but better) he is signed 2 years after this one and Levert could walk.

Hard to say coin flip for me against Cs until as champs someone beats them but thought we had a solid chance against them even if no trade...for sure as good or better than anyone else. I mean, no Jerome and Allen for entire series in playoffs, no Mitchell last 2 games and Wade out much of series and hobbled when he played I think we played them better than anyone including the West Champs.

As to you standing by your comment that's cool...not sure I'd call a 13 point vs. Nets a blowout. Did have 4 real blowouts shortly before the Hunter deal and were missing other players in those games. Closest game was 19. ...not all blowouts (many were) but did start off 15-0 and 33-4 with no Hunter. again, love the add but we were really good regardless.

We haven’t seen a full Knick squad yet

There are some nice complementary players in Payne

Robinson, if this 7ft box of Kleenex can play the rest of the season , healthy, hah, they could give the elite a scare
