I don’t think it is crazy as of right now they lost the Towns trade. I know a lot of fans thought he was a bonehead but he was also a unicorn

Towns is a very good player.

Any team would love to have him as a number 2.

The problem was the Gobert trade. While it let them win some games in the short term, the deal is now looking every bit as bad as we thought it was when they made it.

Not the right mindset if you are trying to win a championship. That’s why some franchises are plagued, cheap owners
They did not feel that they would be able to keep Reid and Alexander Walker and they felt they were a better team with those 2 and the other things they got than if they kept Towns. We will see.

Yeah and I think just about everyone at the time thought it was an awful trade but then you go a trade a guy that was the best shooting big man in the NBA. That can’t be replaced. Both were bad moves They better hope Ant is patient bc they will need to turn this thing around in the next couple seasons if they want Ant to stay around.

NAW is not a difference maker. A decent role player. Like Tlance said, the Gobert trade was bad then you have to sacrifice the better player bc Gobert is untradeable

The season is young. They're 2 losses out of 4th

Just saying what has came out after the trade. They are saying they had no choice financially. And yes, the Gobert trade is to blame.

Shai after the game when asked about being able to get to the rim against such a good defense. He paused then said well first of all I get to the rim against anyone. That’s why I work so hard in the summer, so I can do that.

Even with them having made the WCF, i think in the end the trade gets a C at best.

Not quite the epic bomb it appeared to be 2 years ago but as stated hurt their ability to retain KAT.

It doesn’t matter about their position. Will they make the playoffs, I think no doubt they will. Are they contenders? That would he surprising. The entire dynamic of the offense has changed. I just never was a fan of Randle especially as a #2 option

He was fine in New York as the #2 but the fit here is weird because they have limited good offensive surrounding ant and Randle. Conley, Mcdaniels, and Rudy brings very little to the table

They got their furthest when he was injured and I feel NY had better role players.
So I guess we agree, Randle + limited role players doesn’t seem like enough

Your first sentence is a lie
You lied about me lying.

In 22-23 they went to the semi’s 6 games. Randle played.

In 23-24 they went to the semi’s 7 games. Randle did not play.

One game further. Thanks for playing

Well so much for that New Year’s resolution
Way to agree with a liar without fact checking

lol I mean let’s be real. If that 2023 team played the pacers instead of the Heat then they make the conference finals
