But I would not even rank him ahead of Jokic. And I think Durant and Giannis are very debatably ahead of him too.

The tough thing with Steph is I dont think he has anywhere near the legacy he has if he didn't fall into a tailor made situation. He changed the game, but the team around him allowed him to be who he is.

That’s silly . So anyone on a great team is penalized? His numbers and effect on the sport get him there, not to mention him being the biggest reason those teams were great. Magic Johnson and Larry Bird were drafted into some pretty good situations too

I agree completely plus the I feel the 10 names that belong there are above him. I have him at 11 but anywhere down to about 15 makes sense to me

Not at all.

But Durant was his teammate for 4 years.

And it was obvious that Durant was the best player on that team.

Steph has a superior resume to Kevin Durant. That is obvious to anyone.

But Durant was also equally clearly the superior overall basketball player.
