It's not that nobody knows it's that each voter gets to decide for themselves what their criteria is. That's how voting works.

Maybe adjust slightly to buy a minute here or there, but less than 4 fouls in the first half or 5 in the second, let them play.

I think Daigneault knows who he can trust and who he can’t. . Most likely he just wants to keep finding out. Obviously they want to win this one but with the lead they have it’s still all about growing as a teams.

I’m personally not playing one of my stars with 3 fouls and 10 min left in the 2nd quarter. I don’t mind playing them the final 3-4 minutes of the quarter and take my chances

It is a statistical anomaly to get 3 fouls in a half. Odds of them doing it twice are very low.

Playing him will work out more often than not.

Benching him always limits the impact your best player can have on the game.

It is no different than the overly conservative old school coaching philosophies from football of almost always kicking on 4th down.
