Because some coaches have finally learned that benching your best players with early foul trouble self limits their ability to impact the game.
Better to take a chance and let them play through it.
It's not that nobody knows it's that each voter gets to decide for themselves what their criteria is. That's how voting works.Nobody knows. Pretty crazy
I think Daigneault knows who he can trust and who he can’t. . Most likely he just wants to keep finding out. Obviously they want to win this one but with the lead they have it’s still all about growing as a teams.Because some coaches have finally learned that benching your best players with early foul trouble self limits their ability to impact the game.

It is analytics man.
Pretty much proven to be bad strategy.
Maybe adjust slightly to buy a minute here or there, but less than 4 fouls in the first half or 5 in the second, let them play.
He said 'at least' but glad to hear it's not as severe as fearedBron out 1-2 weeks

This is what they expected when they shipped Hyland out so he could get minutes.Braun is so damn good
I’m personally not playing one of my stars with 3 fouls and 10 min left in the 2nd quarter. I don’t mind playing them the final 3-4 minutes of the quarter and take my chances
The decision also hinges on how loaded you re (Chet is not their best player) and the quality of the opponentDepends on who it is
You don’t do with Townes.
But a player who averages less than 3 fouls a game?
It is a statistical anomaly to get 3 fouls in a half. Odds of them doing it twice are very low.
Playing him will work out more often than not.
Benching him always limits the impact your best player can have on the game.
It is no different than the overly conservative old school coaching philosophies from football of almost always kicking on 4th down.
