I'll turn the page as soon as it doesn't hurt the Knicks again for 3 years consecutive under Thibs. The Knicks made it worse by trading thier depth to upgrade their starters in two big trades this past summer. It's not just a problem, it's their intention.

What are the odds they have all 5 of their starters available for their entire playoff run?
Those chances go for any team in league when for most part

Players today…

are not well conditioned

They are soft

Injuries happen, the time they take off to recover is a joke

Robinson, we don’t even know the extent of the injury, with all the tech they have today, and he’s out this long, a young kid?

Zion in NO, REALLY , CMON man

The injury list in the NBA is bigger than Santa’s List

Santa told me you better stop being naughty to Pasta!

It has absolutely nothing to do with conditioning.

To be fair, similar to when the Lakers brought in Westbrook, the idea was for him to be paired with Maxey so the Sixers could at least tread water while Embiid is out.

Unfortunately for them, much like Westbrook to the Lakers, for whatever reason, it hasn't worked out that way.

He's washed.

Everything has to do with conditioning

Let's take Anthony Davis, he is the poster child for missing games. He is only 100 games behind Larrry Bird for total games played. Larry was broken down his final 2 years also.

For some reason we completely overlook the playoffs.

Kevin Durant has played in nearly 80 games more than Wilt.

These guys are extending their careers as opposed to playing through stuff they shouldn't and shortening their careers.

Is some of the load mgmt ridiculous? Yes. Is Zion a fat fuck? Yes. But don't mistake what the older players did as smart. Because it wasn't. They lost years to their careers.

Again, the game today is no where near as physical as it was 20+ years ago

Anybody see the last nights cavs grizz game ?

I believe it was Mobley goin in for slam and Morant tryin to block

They both ended up laughin about it, huggin it out!

WTF is that?

You think back in the day if a player was goin to jam it wouldn’t have been fiercely contested?

Injuries in basketball are almost never due to the physicality of the game. Like almost never.

so, you’re in agreement with what I have been sayin

Great conditioning, less injury

Guys are getting injured today because they are not well conditioned.

Case & point. AD

His injury was more his ego than anything else, that is the MO of the NBA today

That was Allen and did you see the scuffle before that between Bane and Mitchell, it wasn't much but the guys are still competing just as hard if not harder in todays game, the rules just don't allow for someone to throw a punch and you are back to playing.

I certainly hope he at least makes the all defensive first team this season. Just too many stats where he laps the field. Just listen to Luka, he tells it like it is on Dort.

If it wasn’t for Pritchard I would vouch for Jerome as 6 MOY
and to be fair while Pritchard worthy it's almost like he was just given the award early and that's that.

As to Jerome? His friend/teammate probably more worthy than him....but love Jerome and what he brings to this team. Hell, late in game yesterday wanted ball in his hands and not DM.
