Sure, 1 game vs a team that somebody on here called a scary team recently....

LOL.
That 9 game winning streak came vs the Sixers, Hornets x2, Blazers x2, Pelicans x2, Suns and Magic. Even the best team of the bunch (the Magic) is currently under .500.

That’s not better, just miss the playoffs with the 7th worse record and don’t get lucky in the lottery.

Sure, would give the Thunder a reason to not keep one of their guys due an extension. Just continue to turn over the roster by letting guys walk and trading away assets for more draft picks. They don't need SGA, they need those 5 draft picks more!

The Thunder are not drafting with that pick, but moving it will keep the war chest full

Clean slate but same weaknesses. I get it but if they meet Boston in the 2nd round I highly doubt they can beat Boston 4 out of 7 AND Boston gets homecourt

...and it's not a clean slate when your 5 starters lead the league in minutes played.

In a game that is usually decided by runs, he is the ultimate run stopper. He has zero court awareness, zero basketball IQ, and zero instinct. He never feeds the hot hand, decides what he's gonna do ahead of time and never adjusts, and just kinda is there. He gets some shots and rebounds, but just generally makes the team around him worse.

Badly needs a strong-handed coach, but that probably won't happen until he gets dumped/bought out at some point and he becomes a reclamation project. Needs to be taken down a few pegs before he'll restructure his game IMO.

If one of those teams was projected to get an injury, you don't think it would be the guys playing too many minutes nightly?
Stop with that

Thibs plays his star players the same as other coaches do

The Knicks are not a deep team

A coaches job is to give his team the best chance of winning

And, players today manage themselves

Turn the page with thibs burns his players out

Thibs is more the problem with the fact he’s a one dimensional coach.

I'll turn the page as soon as it doesn't hurt the Knicks again for 3 years consecutive under Thibs. The Knicks made it worse by trading thier depth to upgrade their starters in two big trades this past summer. It's not just a problem, it's their intention.

What are the odds they have all 5 of their starters available for their entire playoff run?

Yeah, it's the guy that has played twice as many games, not Embiid lol.

To be fair, similar to when the Lakers brought in Westbrook, the idea was for him to be paired with Maxey so the Sixers could at least tread water while Embiid is out.

Unfortunately for them, much like Westbrook to the Lakers, for whatever reason, it hasn't worked out that way.
