Damn, that reminds me of a game in 2014 when the Lakers played the last 3 minutes of a game vs the Cavs with 4 eligible players...and won.

They were down to 5 eligible players when Robert Sacre picked up his 6th foul. He was allowed to continue to play...but the Lakers were assessed a technical foul and told that any fouls he committed would also be assessed a technical foul.
