did you read what the list is for? Really only one on OKC can be guarding the best player of the opponent. Or at least take the main assignment.

It's not just top defender though If I read correctly it's who takes the toughest player on the other team most. Would guess IF that guy is even a frontcourt player Allen gets that quite a bit. And if a backcourt/wing guy? Okoro (when he was healthy).

Alright you look at this more than i do. I don't trust 2 guys who cant even be .500 in college to be that gamebreaking.

You never know with these advanced stats. So many switches on the court with screens I guess whoever contests the shot gets credit? Or amount of time covered in that posssession? Or is it limited to certain possessions? Probably doesn’t matter regardless. I just remember seeing the stat on FG % that one contested shots when Mobley defends he is one of the best in the league.

The Lakers mailed it in after the First Quarter and def after the First Half. The starters looked tired and bored.

I was encouraged by the play of the garbage-time bench players who were put in the game early and took a 25-point deficit and whittled it down to 14 points right before the final buzzer.

Led by Bronny who had a couple of threes and Morris who hits some threes too, the Lakers bench players almost got the deficit under 10. That was fun to watch.
