Presti continues to favor long term stability over splashy deals.

Okay. Not like the Thunder need a splashy deal. At this point it's about sitting back and seeing what roster can do. A splashy deal at this point could spoil what they've already got going. Cavs are in pretty much the same position.
Nothing short of making the finals will save him from criticism this go round.

They're still young enough that if the get to the WCF...I doubt anyone will criticize him.

I think Kleber will be used eventually. Whether that is as a player or part of a summer deal, remains to be witnessed. Morris may be used in the same fashion. or moved for a buy-out player perhaps. We shall see.

Yes I know, just saying if this wasn’t his 2nd go round with players like this it would be different. But hey, what GM wouldn’t want to prove they could build the perfect team and do it their way? By doing it the way he is he has 100 percent player buy in at all times. He reacted after the players couldn’t get it done last year and I’m sure he will continue in that mode.

I’m of the belief that with Chet they have enough because of the unreal defense. Scoring enough to beat them 4 times is going to be a feat. But without a long run this season there is going to be a lot of uneasiness around here because of the past. I have to keep saying in Presti we trust though.

Thunder are an unreal 19 pt favorite tonight at home against Raptors. Hoping to make short work of them because tomorrow night at Memphis will be real.

This gives the number each was picked at. Shaq taking Lebron first is interesting. Pretty ridiculous they let Chuck get the first 3 picks he did.

Just more evidence as to why we shouldn’t put too much weight in former player analysis of current players.

Oh it was all about not pissing the wrong people off, no doubt about that. I for one am very glad the league stood up and is attempting to make the players take it a little bit serious at least. They may not cooperate though.

Niang’s salary helped them keep their young players and got them under the tax. I didn’t think they would include Niang but I am fine with it
Niang was supposedly an amazing clubhouse guy.

I am sad to see him and LeVert go- especially because I felt this team earned a chance to make a run with how they played.

On paper I love the Hunter deal. We will see if it works in practically. I think it likely will but nothing is guaranteed- sometimes the right mix is really important.

@thunderc

I wasn't joking around. I'm too busy right now to look up OKC's next game.
