True, but again, when was the last time a 25 year old superstar who is just entering his prime years, was traded? No one is saying AD is a scrub. Folks are just trying to figure out what they're supposed to think because it's pretty unprecedented.

Hell, can't speak for anyone else...but I'm still trying to figure out what to think. lol
One Kareem Abdul Jabbar who was 24 when traded from the Bucks to the Lakers and was recognized as a star.

Let me get this straight. The Lakers gave away more future draft assets and a kid who is going to be a star for a Center who is the same height and is 20lbs heavier than Hayes, scores way more than Hayes, and may be just as bad on Defense as Hayes. This one borders on stupid but I'll wait until I watch the guy play before I yield a final decision.

Also, now that Shroeder is available, maybe Pelinka and Reddick will call him and bring him back for his Defense from the Guard position.

@dtgold88 this one goes against your dictum about the big deals always being under the radar. Butler to GS has been one of the biggest rumors out there...
I tend to stay away from extremes like all, none, always, never. Might be wrong, but think I USUALLY say MOST deals.

Garland saves the choke job
Sure did. another huge shot by him in the clutch.

I can at least appreciate that last year a game like this? JB gets all the blame for the player screw ups at the end. Now no one will blame the teflon coach...which I actually prefer. JB also would have been ripped for publicly blaming players like KA did. Again, I don't mind it.

If Detroit doesn't pull something out today it was all just to accumulate assets (2nd round picks) to facilitate future moves since Weaver left us asset depleted. Trajan may be playing to keep his first this year and be able to make moves next year. He wasn't expecting to be as good as they are this year, so he's kind of in a no man's land: Not enough to contend but not bad enough to get a high pick or maybe even lose our first rounder sine it is only top 13 protected.

Not going to be surprised if the Mavs advance farther in the playoffs.....even after getting Williams.
See thats a problem by itself. The Mavs damn sure better go farther this year considering they have a 2 year window and this season is just gravy for the Lakers

Crazy turnaround season from Garland. His efficiency numbers are crazy, he stepped up his defense and one of clutch players in the league. That jaw injury fucked him up
complete 180...good thing the FO unlike many of the fans believed in him and thought last year the one off.

I can't believe you're ripping Rob. If I were a Lakers fan I would have been jacking off the last 48 hours straight
