Considering Memphis jumped up in the betting odds and then Haynes specifically named Memphis as a team Jimmy won't go to, that tells me a deal was very close to being done.

Depending on the parameters of the deal, I'd call Jimmy's bluff and do it anyway if I'm Memphis. Let's say its just Smart/Kennard/Clarke and a pick. Smart and Kennard are expiring anyway, probably not bringing them back. If the pick has lottery protections, you're spending that for a chance on a Kawhi in Toronto type rental to win the championship this year. If he leaves, you're out a pick (15 thru 30) but have lots of cap space to fill in the pieces you need. Now if they think they can get Cam Johnson, it'd be best to go down that path now
Agree....but concern is unlike Kawhi who came and did his job (really well) will Jimmy? Will he even show up? Though guess if he doesn't show the deal is called off.

Yeah . That’s my thought

No one is irreplaceable and they’ll at least have the big mle to replace someone if jimmy leaves

But most likely you’re facilitating a s&t anyway

Now he is picking and choosing who he wants. That won’t work well

We say that as if it hasn't worked out for Durant, Harden, Kyrie, etc multiple times. I suppose one day it won't work out, but like 99% of the time it works for the player

They didn’t fuck with Pat Riley but yeah he probably ends up going to a contender. Not sure if it is going to be one of his top choices but we will see

This also might be Ingram’s life raft

Prediction:

As bad as his contract may be... The Suns trading Bradley Beal will do them more harm than good in the long run.

I don't think there is a team in the league that would take on Beal's contract (if he approved, has a NTC) without SUBSTANTIAL draft pick compensation.

It is a lose-lose for PHX and the team trading for him. That being said, I would be shocked if someone wants him.

Mavs are snake bit, now Gafford going to miss considerable time with an ankle injury.

They need every win they can get.....AD and Bron have been pretty healthy overall so far this season.

Always subject to change though.

Really like Christie's offense lately. Starting to catch up to his defense.

12.5ppg on 50% and 44.4.% shooting the last 10 games

Not sure he has to put that message out as much as he thinks. This has turned into a hate war.

He clearly wants phoenix but Miami doesn’t want a Beal. Unless they get a 3rd team involved he will be in uniform next Friday vs Denver is how it’s looking

Guess the anywhere but Miami comment was another lie lol
