Yeah, I saw his comment the other day about wanting to be somewhere that valued him.

Here’s my idea from the other day. Do you think this flies? @shopson67 thought it was too cheap and would require another first. My argument was that they are getting value in clearing cap in a rebuild here so 1 first for Brog makes sense and it’s cap relief and a 2nd for Grant who I think most of the league sees as a questionable contract.
Honestly he could be the Goatum dude. That’s the kind of thing he would do to throw us off.Do we have any posters that have been Thunder fans that became Warriors fans that became Nets fans that became Suns fans?
Doesn’t mean every player signed off on it lolIt was part of the last CBA
You would still have RoCo, Batum, Morris and a pick to get some more ammoGet both from Portland
It makes sense to me
Probably good moves
Well no but that hardly matters.Doesn’t mean every player signed off on it lol
Yep.You gotta give up 2 firsts
Clippers and 2030
Still leaves you 2 firsts to deal on draft night with whatever cap space is left plus Springer
This is what I was talking about. I bet they ask another pick too otherwise it looks good.Yeah, I saw his comment the other day about wanting to be somewhere that valued him.

Don't think it was much about him.Sitting here contemplating what Ham must have done differently last night.

If they have to send two picks, I’m playing hardball and holding on to the Clippers 2028 unprotected pick. That pick is going to have a ton of value. Not parting with that one. I think I win that game of chicken. I don’t think there’s much of a market for Jerami Grant and his contract. This is what I was talking about. I bet they ask another pick too otherwise it looks good.
I hope it doesn’t happen

He trying to get those guys as cheaply as possible. In a world where siakam is getting 50m more in dollars and goes for 3 firsts i think one for grant is fine
Personally, I think Siakam is a better player than Grant. Siakam has been successful as a first option and been All NBA in that role. I think Grant has failed when he’s been thrust into that role.In a world where siakam is getting 50m more in dollars and goes for 3 firsts i think one for grant is fine

He is better but the difference isn't as big as you think.Personally, I think Siakam is a better player than Grant. Siakam has been successful as a first option and been All NBA in that role. I think Grant has failed when he’s been thrust into that role.
I think if Portland trading Grant straight up they could get 2 1st's but I think in a package deal with Brogdon....the Sixers could give up Harris, an expiring contract and 2 1st's.I mean, he went 3x more
So sure he’s a better player
Grant is the 1 in Portland now and doing fine
He’s not the issue there
Ayton still napping while making money money than him is

Maybe you guys were in the group that’s in the exception but I think the board was universally agreed that the Grant contract was an overpay.I think if Portland trading Grant straight up they could get 2 1st's but I think in a package deal with Brogdon....the Sixers could give up Harris, an expiring contract and 2 1st's.
