1. You are trying way too hard.

There has been zero evidence, either way, to say anyone lied about their age or anything else.

You are putting maximum effort into trying to convince a bunch of people on the internet to see the situation your way and it's pretty obvious they won't.


2. And this is the most important part, what you are posting is simply not true.

That is not how the law works.

If a minor lies about his or her age online, the minor will likely face no repercussions. However, adults who engage in sex acts with minors who have lied about their age can still be liable for a sex crime. In many states, not knowing that someone was underage is not a defense to most sex offenses involving minors, like statutory r*pe.

He was guaranteeing that the Thunder were handling it 100% correctly on their own. I pointed out that they haven't done anything any differently than any other team has or would have and that the league has something of a blueprint for these situations and why it exists.

He pushed back on that.

Then I laid out the blueprint and how the league, Thunder and Giddey have followed it to the letter.
