Idk what you do as NO if you just trade Ingram for picks

Their FAs are….fine but moving this salary to keep them doesn’t move the needle

You may as well trade cj and do a little reset
Trade Zion while you’re at it because what you are saying sounds like a rebuild

That’s kind of my point

If you just get picks for Ingram…what are you even doing

I don’t see a path forward

What do you call dumping ingram for draft picks

Cj is on the back 9 of his career

Zions body is a ticking time bomb

It’s a tough spot to be in

Teams that in general dont have a path forward keep the league afloat right?

All of this stems from the Riley presser to end the season. I don’t think Butler goes anywhere. Pat Riley is almost dead. He’s not trading away his best player to rebuild. He wants to take one more swing at a trophy.
I agree but that all depends what he can get for Jimmy. At this point the benefit of trading him is less than keeping him imo

It’s not only keeping him, it’s extending him for over 50m per year in his late 30s

Opening up a starting spot for Murphy is what I call it

Yeah....I agree with this.

They aren't doing anything in the WC.

Starting to be some rumors re: what a JJ Redick coaching staff might look like if the Lakers hire him.

Saw an article that if they hire Redick, they're expected to target, Sam Cassell, James Borrego and Jared Dudley.

Not sure I like the idea of hiring Redick, but I like the idea of those assistants.

Possibly Sacramento with the way their extension talks with Mike Brown seem to be going.

Lakers should simply bring him back

Or cough up their first for Lue

If LeBron trusts Reddick (and I believe he will, at least at first) then I think it is a gamble worth taking.
