When I hear local guys start mentioning Jimmy being offered in the summer is when I’ll get worried. Miami is a very private organization so the national guys get almost no insider information on them so they are just saying shit and hope it sticks

I have seen the Sixers linked to dozens of guys now. It’s getting crazy. There’s no way to interpret any of this stuff because of the sheer volume of names being linked to all the Sixers cap space.

Personally, I think Embiid/Maxey is enough. The only kind of star hunting I want is for a 3 and D wing. If that guy isn’t available then you use the cap to get a more reliable level of role player that has earned a higher salary.

I’d be open to Morey getting creative and finding a depressed asset on his rookie deal that the drafting club isn’t happy with.

All of this stems from the Riley presser to end the season. I don’t think Butler goes anywhere. Pat Riley is almost dead. He’s not trading away his best player to rebuild. He wants to take one more swing at a trophy.

I don't think he leaves either. But put him on either Philly or OKC and they become the title favorites. It'll be tempting for him.
